RMC REFRIGERATION SCADA REBUILD

In 2023, we were contacted by our client, Ralphs Meat Company, to replace their aging SCADA infrastructure with a new modern design that focused on ease of use, performance, and security.
Here we take a look at the refrigeration pages of their new SCADA to showcase how our new SCADA system has helped improve their operations.
OUT WITH THE OLD
The old design for the refrigeration SCADA, while functional, was difficult to read and slow to navigate. To keep up with increasing demand, a redesign was needed.
ACCESS TO ONLY THOSE WHO NEED IT
Using Ignition's advanced role-based security, we were able to restrict access to changing values and alarms down to the individual tag, to ensure that only those who should have access do.
SIMPLE & CLEAN
When redesigning the SCADA pages, we focused on using a neutral colour scheme that was easy to look at, using highlights only for crucial information that needed to be understood at a glance.
ALARMING VERSATILITY
With editable setpoints, priorities, and enabling/disabling, control over alarms was made highly configurable, while still being easy to use.
